Objectives:
Practical:
·        To revise the vocabulary on the topics “ Colours”, “ Toys”
·        to introduce some new vocabulary on the topic  “ Toys”
·        to practice using the verb “ Like”  ;
Educational:
·        to develop pupils’ logical and critical thinking;
·        to extend pupils’ knowledge of English as a foreign language;
Developing:
·        to develop pupils’  reading, speaking, listening skill;
·        to increase pupils' motivation;
·        to develop pupils’ communicative skills;

Educative:
·        to encourage children to know, respect and love the world around them;


Materials: the poster “ I like my toys” the pictures of Sponge Bob , pictures  and posters of coloures and toys, cards with words, coloured pencils, a paper mask, a music car, badges, the microphone, a “ magic pencil”





















1.Greeting

  T. Good morning my friends!
  P.     Good morning, teacher!
  T. How are you ?
  P. We’re fine, thank you!
  T. My name’s Yana Serhiivna and today we’ll play, sing, talk and dance together! Are you ready?

1.      Warming  up
a)
- I’d like to know you better, so let’s get acquainted! I’ve got my card
 and  the cards with all your names, so I’m going to hand them out.
Will you help me?
Dialogue speaking
T.- Who is Artem?
P. – I am Artem.
T.- Nice to meet you!( giving the name card with the smiley face on it)
P.-  Nice to meet you too!

b) – I came to you not alone. Meet your guest!
 - Do you know him? Who’s this?
( Sponge Bob squarepants)
-         Say him “ Hello!”

He has some very nice badges for you! But you’ll get them after some tasks!





3. Revising colours
a)
-         Sponge Bob took his “ Magic pencil” for you! Let’s revise, what colours are there in it?( a paper pencil with coloured cards inside)

b) Colouring the name cards. Introducing the verb “like”
- Which of them do you like best? Take it and colour the smiley face on your name card!
T. – Sasha, which colour do you like?
P. – I like red.(showing the card)
c) Reading the colours ( the poster)
 - Sponge Bob wants to read with you. He has this poster with colours.
Pink                            black
Orange                        yellow
Green                         purple
Red                            brown
Blue        grey            white

d) – Let’s make it better and stick the coloured cards here. And Sponge Bob will give you his badges!
4. Revising toys
 - Do you like toys? What toys do you know?


-         Sponge Bob has a lot of toy friends! Look!
( the poster “ I like my toys”, the pictures of toys)
5. Singing a song
    T.  Look! What’s this?
    P. It’s a car.

    T.Yes!Sponge Bob squarepants came here by car!
     What colour is it?
    P.It’s blue   
    T. Moreover, it’s a music car!    Let’s sing the Sponge Bob’s Song”!
Are you ready kids?
Aye-aye captain.
 

I can't hear you...
Aye-aye captain!
Oh! Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
SpongeBob SquarePants!
Absorbant and yellow and porous is he!
SpongeBob SquarePants!
If nautical nonsense is something you wish...
SpongeBob SquarePants!
Then drop on the deck and flop like a fish!

6. Listening and painting
_- Sponge Bob gives you the cards!What can you see there?
(a robot, a ball, a teddy, a train, a car, a doll)
-Now listen to their colours and paint them that way!
1) The  robot is orange.
2) The ball is blue.
3) The teddy is brown.
4) The train is green.
5) The car is red.
6) The doll is pink.

7. Vocabulary practicing
-         - Look at these cards. Translate the words! (colours and toys)
Well done!
  1)And now I’ll give you the words to put them on the board to the right places (  two columns “ Colours” and “ Toys”)
 
  2) The names of toys are coloured but the names of colours are only  black. Mach the toy with its colour!

8. Summing up.
 - Sponge Bob is going to leave us. But  he wants to play with you for the last time!
Game “ What’s this?”( with the mask of Sponge Bob)
Take one picture of the toy and hide it. Your classmates have to ask you about it:
-         Is it a …(train)?
-         Yes,it is/ No, it isn’t.
