Objectives:
Practical:
·       to revise the vocabulary on the topics “ Weather”, “Clothes”, 
 “ Fruit”, “Animals”;
·       to practice pupils’ communicative skills ;
·       to teach pupils dialogue and monologue speech;
·       to summarize the topics.
Educational:
·       to extend pupils’ knowledge about the weather, fruit, clothes and animals;
·       to develop pupils’ logical and critical thinking;
·       to extend pupils’ knowledge of English as a foreign language.
Developing:
·       to increase pupils' motivation;
·       to develop pupils’ communicative skills;
·       to stimulate pupils’ thinking.
Educative:
·       to encourage children to know, respect and love their native land;
·        to cultivate pupils’ love for native land.

Materials: slide projector, music records, basket of fruit, pictures, puppets, pencils, papers, crosswords,











1.Greeting

T. Good morning my friends!
  P.     Good morning, teacher!
       We’re all in our places,
        With shining faces.
        Good morning to you,
        We’re glad to see you
T. Great! How are you?
P. We’re in a good mood.
       Yes, it’s true.
       We’re in a good mood!
       And how about you?

T. Fine, thanks. Today I’m not alone. I brought my friends - Lisa ,Mery and John                                                                                 ( slide 1)




-Act out the dialogues Ask them about their names, age and their countries. Puppet game.

P. What’s your name?
 - My name is Lisa ( Mery, John)
P. How old are you?
- I’m eight ( nine, ten)
P. Where are you from?
- I’m from England ( USA, France)
P. Nice to meet you!

2. Warming up.
T. And now my friends want to know all your names.

3.Main part
T. The guests are interested in our country! They want to know  everything about it!
So, tell them, where are you from?
P. We’re from Ukraine.

1)Revising vocabulary “ Weather”

Mery: What season is it now in Ukraine?
                                                                     ( slide 2)

P. It’s winter now.
John : What is the weather like in winter?
P. It’s cold and snowy.
Lisa : Look! We’ve got a tongue-twister about the weather. Say it as quickly as you can.

        You’ve got to put  up with the weather
        Whether you like it or not!

Lisa: So, what’s your favourite season?

2)Revising vocabulary “ Clothes”
John:  What do you usually wear in winter ( spring, summer, autumn)?

Mery: Well done! As we can see you know a lot of animals!
